The solution

SeMSe is a shared SMS inbox for organisations. Messages to the organisation's mobile number are routed automatically to the right group, the whole team sees the conversation, and everything is traceable. Underneath is FairGateway®, technology with a granted patent.

No app

Residents, customers and employees use their phone's ordinary messaging app. No download, no login, no training – it works on practically every mobile phone.

Images both ways

Residents and customers can send photos by ordinary MMS – of a water leak, a landslide or damage. The photos land in the conversation with the right group and are kept in the history. You can also reply with images, such as a map or instructions.

The right group, automatically

Rules decide who receives each message: known sender, prefix, keyword or a fallback rule. Rules are evaluated in priority order, and each number has its own rules.

Escalation and duty rosters

Each group has its own duty roster, and messages go to whoever is on duty right now. If nobody acknowledges within the deadline you set, the alert is escalated automatically through several levels – with stronger alerts in the app at each level, and finally an automatic phone call with a voice message about what has not been acknowledged. The original group keeps responsibility and history, and an acknowledgement stops further escalation.

Integrations

If you use Telia Smart Connect (Phonero), SeMSe can fetch the duty roster straight from your phone queues: whoever is logged in to the queue also receives the SMS messages. No double registration, and the shift change happens in one place. The next step is APIs for CRM, booking and case management systems, so messages can be sent from and documented in the systems you already use.

What you need

SeMSe uses your organisation's own mobile number. The number sits in a dedicated Samsung phone at your premises, with its own SIM card and a subscription from the operator of your choice. The phone stays connected to power and the network, and acts as your organisation's SMS gateway.

Minimum requirement: Samsung Galaxy A17.

The whole team sees the conversation

Everyone in the group sees the same conversation – who has read it, who has acknowledged it and what has been replied. Replies always go out from the number the message came in on.

No price per SMS

You pay us a fixed, predictable subscription – not per message, the way traditional SMS services charge. The mobile phone and mobile subscription are not included. You choose your own operator, and messages go through your own subscription. Contact us for pricing.

Patented core

Underneath SeMSe is FairGateway®, technology with a granted patent that has been in operation with paying customers since 2024.

Questions and answers

What is SeMSe?

SeMSe is a shared SMS inbox for organisations. Messages to the organisation's mobile number are routed automatically to the right group, and the whole team sees the conversation.

Do people who text us need an app?

No. Residents, customers and employees use their phone's ordinary messaging app.

Can we receive and send images?

Yes. SeMSe handles MMS in both directions, and images are kept in the conversation history.

Can several employees handle the same number?

Yes. Everyone in the group sees the same conversation, including who has read, acknowledged and replied.

How is it decided who receives a message?

Rules route each message: known sender, prefix, keyword or a fallback rule. Rules are evaluated in priority order.

Can SeMSe connect to the systems we already use?

Yes. SeMSe can fetch duty rosters from Telia Smart Connect (Phonero), and APIs for CRM, booking and case management systems are the next step.

What does it cost per SMS?

We don't charge per message. You pay us a fixed subscription, and messages go through your own mobile subscription. Contact us for pricing.

What do we need to get started?

A dedicated Samsung phone, minimum Samsung Galaxy A17, with its own SIM card and a subscription from the operator of your choice.

Do we keep our own number?

Yes. SeMSe uses your organisation's own mobile number, and the number always belongs to you.

Who has access to our data?

Only your own users, according to the roles you give them. Each organisation's data is isolated, and neither we as the supplier nor our developers have access to customer data.

Can recipients opt out of messages?

Yes. If a recipient replies STOPP, further messages from the organisation are stopped (opt-out). START opts them back in, and INFO tells them who is sending.
